Austin “Brud” Hodgkins has been a prominent entrepreneur in the Poughkeepsie community. Brud is the Co-Founder of IOGP and has founded many businesses including Hodgkins Agency, specializing in Business and Estate Planning as well as confounding Riverside Bank, which was sold to Salisbury Bank and Trust in 2014. Brud has also been involved in Real Estate, helping sell properties like Tiamo Resort in the Bahamas. Additionally, Brud has always been involved in farming working with Jackson Mountain Farms in Maine and more recently co-founding Indoor Gardens of Poughkeepsie in 2015. Brud graduated from the University of Maine in Engineering and Business Management along with being an Army Instructor for the US Army. When Brud is not busy at work, he enjoys flying, skiing, watching baseball, and spending time with his family.
Richard Mattocks is an Environmental Scientist (M.S. Environmental Science and Engineering, Virginia Tech) he manages growing operations and finance at IOGP. Richard was previously a senior science advisor at Martin Energy Group Systems LLC, where he worked with their indoor agricultural production. Further, Richard has extensive experience in organic and waste management. Some of Richard’s notable experiences were as a consultant in environmental waste management systems at the Russia World Bank and as a Principal in organic waste digestion system consulting at Biothane. In addition to his work, Richard sits on the board of the Cornell Cooperative Extension, Dutchess County.
Karole Mundell is our Chief Operating Officer. She has been with IOGP since 2015 and was previously working in Human Resources at the Hodgkins Agency. At IOGP she is responsible for farm management and operations. Additionally, Karole is closely engaged in the constant search for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the IOGP process and product. Karole graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Financial Service Management.
